Dear Friends and Family,
As you may know, I am now a Senior at Cornerstone Prep and am involved with a leadership and ministry program that serves both in the US and internationally, called IMPACT. This year my IMPACT week will be March 23rd - March 29th, 2024. During this year’s IMPACT, our team of nineteen will be partnering with Praying Pelican Missions to minister within the local church in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The church is planted right in the middle of the neighborhood of Puerto Nuevo, Reparto Metropolitano, and has a big campus for different activities and community outreach. The heart of the church is to spread the Gospel and also to meet the physical needs of their neighbors. We will also be painting, cleaning, delivering groceries to those in need, and spending time with the kids in the community. Our main mission is not only to give the community physical nourishment, but spiritual nourishment as well.
